Our
Story
- My name is Jacob Gonzales, a 29-year-old 2nd Generation Mexican. Vaquero culture has always been a part of my life. Seeing my Tios wearing cowboy hats and boots every day made me dive into the history and what it represents to me. I believe there is a cowboy in everyone; we gotta "BE BOLD" and ride on.
- Rodeo Plants stitches rugged history into every minimalist essential—hats, wallets, vests, notebooks, and beyond—crafted to be within everyone’s reach and tough enough for a lifetime of dust and dawn. From the sun-baked vaquero benches of 18th-century Chihuahua, where Moorish tanning met frontier hide, to the clang of 1880s Cheyenne forges shaping Stetson crowns and the roar of Pendleton and Calgary rodeo chutes, each piece pulses with borderland soul.
- We draw sustainable leather from family-run Mexican tanneries—the beating heart of our goods—honoring low-impact tradition. All pieces are made to order and take 2–3 weeks to fulfill. Catch us slinging heritage at Albuquerque’s bustling markets, igniting timeless Southwestern fire.
